Vodafone UK updates its X10 Mini and Mini Pro to Android 2.1

Wednesday March 02, 2011

The Sony Ericsson’s Android 2.1 has an update for its Xperia X10 range that is almost finished, with Vodafone the newest network to release the update for the small Android handsets.

The upgrade started to appear last week, and seems to be gradually succeeding onto the phones of many customers without issue – in spite of the enclosure of some of the much-criticized Vodafone 360 apps.

Sony Ericsson Android upgrades are matched through the company’s PC Companion syncing tool, so once the announcement message has arrived you’ll be needing to join your X10 Mini or Mini Pro to a PC to download and install the 2.1 OS.
