The refreshed Wildfire S will be an entry level touchscreen smartphone, substituting the present Wildfire that has been one of the well-known Android phones around.
It is slightly hard, a bit lighter and about 15 per cent faster and also has the same screen size of 3.2-inch but with twice the resolution (480x320 pixels).
HTC also upped the RAM to 512MB and the internal storage to 512MB. There's a five-megapixel camera with AF and flash, a 1230mAh battery which interpret into lower talk time compared to its forerunner.
This handset adds 802.11n, Bluetooth 3.0 as well as the HTC Sense UI with Android Gingerbread but loses the FM radio it seems.
The entrance of the latest Wildfire means that the older one can be available for cheaper price then its new phone; you can get it on with 100 minutes, 100 texts and unlimited internet for £15.32 on a two year deal with £50 moneyback assurance.
